Mobilise is a movement with a mission:
To make sure nobody has to figure out a caring role on their own.
Many of us might not identify as a 'carer', or like the label - lots of us don't.
We know that when it comes to caring, one size doesn't fit all. Some of us live with the person we look after. While others care from far away.
With these challenges, we believe every one of the UK's 5 million unpaid carers has the potential to make life brighter for others in similar positions - by sharing their experiences, and wisdom.

We believe there is nothing more important in life than looking after the people we love.
We want to radically change the way society sees and supports people who look after someone like we do. Together, we can get this right.
We hear you, because we are you
We're an online business led by carers, for carers. We provide weekly digests of carers' top tips, community support and a space to connect with people in similar positions.
Together we're figuring it out, with a giggle, a wobble and a healthy dose of humour.

Connecting you with the support you need
We believe carers should have free access to the support they need, all the time. That might include helping you quickly find out whether you're entitled to a benefit such as Carer's Allowance. Or a simple checklist to help you prepare for your Carer's Assessment.
Sharing the experience of others
We're in this together and learning from each other, every single day. Every time somebody shares their story - their frustrations, successes or questions - we all learn more about how to help each other.

What we each do
James Townsend
CEO and Co-Founder
James has over ten years of experience setting up and leading socially impactful organisations. He supports his mother, who has MS.
Claire Cook
Senior Content and Engagement
Claire is qualified NLP practitioner (neuro linguistic programming) with a background in marketing. Claire is a carer for her daughter with complex needs.
Dom Taylor
Head of Partnerships at Mobilise
Dom looks after our contracted partners, and is also a founder of another social enterprise called PRIME. In his spare time, you'll find him on a 6-a-side football pitch or walking in the countryside.
Dawn Truscott
Partnerships Manager, Midlands, North of England and Wales
Dawn has a background in HR, Events Management and Facilitation. She works with Dom, supporting our contracted partners. A carer herself, outside of Mobilise you will find her at the gym or working in her garden.
Louise Campbell
B2B Marketing Manager
Louise has years of marketing experience working with brands, from world-leading charities to exciting SaaS start-ups. Outside of Mobilise you’ll find her having a bit of chill time with yoga or cheering on her beloved football team (Plymouth Argyle) or ice hockey team (Belfast Giants).
Clare Nuthall
Operations Assistant
Clare is joining the team as Operations Assistant. She has a degree in Management and previously worked at CEB, a consultancy and research organisation supporting IT executives from a number of FTSE 500. Outside of Mobilise you can find her curling with with a book and her cat, or spending time with her husband and three children.
Suzanne Bourne
Head of Carer Support & Co-Founder
Suzanne is a Carer's Coach, and has designed training programmes for Parkinson's UK. She is a carer for her husband, Matt.
Claire Unwin
Digital Solution Designer
Claire has over twenty years of developing digital products for a range of users. She is a carer for her parents.
Linda Nguyen
Marketing Executive
Linda is business graduate at Queen Mary University of London. Outside of all things Marketing, she is most likely watching YouTube and eating.
Robert Wilby
Head of Finance
Robert's background is in financial management in technology, infrastructure and new businesses. His leisure interests include watching cricket and collecting comic art.
Lucy Thomas
Mobilise Support Specialist
Lucy has had a varied career - ranging from project management to secondary school teaching. Outside of Mobilise you can find her making delicious meals for friends and family, tap dancing and expanding her horizons with the Frome Film Club.
Mohammad Awais
Carer Support Team Manager
Awais has years of experience working with young adults with challenging behaviour and diverse needs in semi-independent homes and the HMP Young Offenders Institute. In his spare time, you can find him trekking, swimming or visiting English Heritage Sites.
Kyro Brooks
Co-Founder
Kyro is a qualified accountant, supporting tech entrepreneurs internationally. He has been a carer since he was 13.
Joe Legate
Director of Marketing and Product
Joe has over ten years of experience in marketing and growing businesses. When not getting excited by data you'll find him leading the local cub scout pack.
John Colenutt
Chief Operating Officer
John has extensive experience in senior roles in investment banking, fast-growing charities and start ups. In his spare time he is a keen cyclist and skier and a long-suffering Saints fan.
Nicky Hyde
Partnerships Manager, London, SE, Scotland and NI
Nicky has over six years of experience commissioning new services for carers. Outside of Mobilise, you can find Nicky deep into Masterchef or planning her next interior design project.
Karen Steadman
Mobilise Support Specialist
Karen has a background in theatre and has enjoyed performing, teaching and stand-up. Outside of Mobilise, you can find her swimming (and not just in a pool!).
Nikki Brown
Content Marketing Manager
Nikki has over five years of experience within Marketing, and has loved writing all her life.
When not out walking her dog through the local farm land, you'll find Nikki curled up with a book or tending to her veggie patch.
