Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.

Home sweet home?

Yesterday we asked: Have you become a carer since the start of the 1st lockdown in March 2020?

Graph showing the results to the question Since the pandemic started have your digital skills improved? 50% said yes and only 2% said no

Considering we've all been locked down for the best part of two months, we might have expected "I'm so sick of these four walls" to be significantly higher. Our attitudes towards our own homes are more sanguine however. 53% of us are comfortable, have happy memories or say "There's no place like home".

That's counter-balanced by 47% who say that their home needs work, doesn't suit their needs or causes them stress.

The small improvements we make to our living space are frequent topics on our Fix-it Friday Cuppa (every Friday at 12.30). Many use this is a goal for something they would like to achieve, others are pleased when they can fix something that has been irritating them, others noted that simply re-organising or moving furniture in a room, gave them a good feeling.

If you are considering doing home improvements, it's perhaps worth learning from the mistakes of Gerrard Hoffnung...
