Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.
A financial review
Yesterday, we asked "When was the last time you reviewed your finances?"
Reviewing our finances regularly can be a good routine to understand, it can ensure that we really understand what is going on, rather than perhaps worrying unnecessarily.
It seems that most of our community keep a keen eye on what's going on, with 44% saying that they review their finances monthly. This compares sharply with 19% of us who say it has been over a year or who don't recall when they last did it.
Here are some reasons why you should take a look regularly:
Understanding of whether the money you receive is enough to cover what you needs to be spent
Good grasp of your expenditure and planning for expected future expense - for example a new fridge or Christmas
Review of what debt you have, and how much it is costing you
Oversight of savings, if you have them, to understand if they are growing or shrinking
To see if you could get a better deal on some of your regular bills, like electricity and gas, broadband and others
