#48 | Results from 17th March

Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.

How would you rate the support you receive from your family and friends?

Graph showing how unpaid carers rated the support they receive from family and friends. The majority of respondents don't rate support highly on a scale of 1-5. With 5 being very well supported. 68% rated their support three or under.

As a group, we are just as likely to say we are very well supported, as we are to say we are not supported at all. The scores in the middle of the scale tell a very different picture though, which is that nearly 51% of us think our support is ok or not well supported (a score of two or three). Though when we add up all scores three and under - 68% of us consider that we are not well supported by our friends and family.

Back at the beginning of the first lockdown (remember that far back?), Suzanne and Chloe shared their tips on 'a whole family approach' to caring. Little things along the way, that helped to keep everyone ticking over.

And for those of us who don't feel we have a support group right now, we have some carer inspired tips to create our support network, to get us started.

Here's some brilliant support groups in action....
