Emotional wellbeing

Yesterday we asked: In general, how would you say your mental health is?


While 19.2% of us feel our mental health is good, twice as many of us (over 39%) feel our mental health is poor or very poor. Leaving the rest of us with average or variable levels of mental health. This far exceeds the national average, which is that 1 in 6 of us report a common mental health problem (Mind).


So for those of us struggling right now, why not start with doing just one thing for our mental health? Starting small, so we don't overwhelm ourselves. And who knows, that one small thing, may create some momentum.


But ultimately, let's simply be kind to ourselves. It's been an incredibly tough year, and some self-love, self-acceptance and self-appreciation could be just the metaphorical healing hug we need most right now.
