Yesterday we asked: In the last month, how often have you felt stressed?
According to Mind, there is no medical definition to stress. There is also confusion over whether it is cause or effect. They go on to say that there are two main ways of dealing with stress: managing external pressures and building emotional resilience.
With 89% of saying that we have felt stressed fairly often or more in the last month, and none of us saying we never felt stressed in the last month, it's clear that we need to work on managing our external pressures and building our emotional resilience.
One simple way of working to control how stressed we feel is through taking a moment for ourselves, slowing down and focussing on us.
