Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.

Delays in medical appointments

Yesterday we asked: Since the pandemic started, have you experienced delays in medical appointments for yourself?

It was inevitable that some delays to appointments will have occurred due to the pandemic. We are only too aware though, that as carers, if our health declines our ability to support those we look after also diminishes. Or in some cases is not possible at all. Nearly 50% of our responses indicated a slow down in appointments.

For any of us who are concerned about the late running of an appointment and its impact, do raise this with your GP and the appointments secretary at the hospital. Many normal processes have simply ground to a halt and you may find success through personal contact.

And as we know, even when appointments are running, they’re often delayed. Well it turns out the whiling away some of that time on our phones may have some benefits. Studies have shown that playing games can have positive physical and mental health benefits, and increasingly as games can be played with others over the internet they foster feelings of friendship and community. Here's a great list of the best mobile games with something for everyone.
