#74 | Results from 12th April

Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.

Time for a quick trim?

Yesterday we asked: In England - more places are now open for you to visit - what's first on your list?

Yesterday marked the end of 95 days of lockdown (in England), a total of 165 days since the first lockdown was announced in March 2020. Many of us have endured significantly more days under self-imposed lockdown, either shielding for the conditions of those we care for, or our own conditions.

Indicatively from our Cuppas and Facebook Group we know that our community has been cautious throughout the pandemic, so it is no surprise that 38% of us are staying put for the time being, perhaps leaving the house for a haircut (33% of us)!

So what's next?

The UK's vaccine roll-out has been significant. 30,960,717 doses have been administered and there are now 4,374,689 people who have received two doses (data accurate to 4th April 2021). For those of us with a loved-one in a care home the news is also encouraging: 94.1% of those eligible and 78.9% of staff have received a first dose.

This is certainly encouraging and perhaps means that some glimmers of confidence can appear and ease some of the pressures that we all feel and allow some of the support we have experienced in the past to return.
