Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.

How do you shop?

Yesterday we asked: How are you currently shopping for your groceries?

Graph showing the results of a poll to unpaid carers on how they do their grocery shopping. Results are split between going in person and online ordering with deliver. A handful of respondents do click and collect.

Shopping for groceries is an essential task. We can't live without it and for many of us it can be a great reason to get out of the house. It can also be a stressful experience right now, often with us coming in to contact with more people shopping than anywhere else!

Our poll suggests that we are pretty split in terms of our habits between going in-person or online ordering.

At the start of the pandemic, we know that it was challenging to get online ordering slots, but capacity has significantly improved since then and 'click and collect' options are much more widely available and easy to use online.

When you do your shopping you should also consider meal planning. Plenty of our community have told us that this is a lifeline for them, when the unexpected occurs or if they need a quick meal. Take a look at our guide to meal planning for busy carers.
