Here are the results from yesterday’s Mobilise Moments poll.

Routine or regime?

Yesterday we asked: Do you have to follow a strict daily routine as a result of the care you provide?

79% of us follow some kind of routine, from having structure to our days (33%) all the way to a strict daily routine (19%). For some of us this might be built around medication, personal care or that the habits of the person/s we care for are like clockwork!

Previous Mobilise Moments have highlighted that respite from this structure and routine, alongside improved financial support, is one of the main areas we would like assistance with from The Government.

Routine and planning can be a useful tool to help alleviate stress and remove the unexpected from our caring role. They can also help to establish regular moments when we might be able to spend time on us!

If you are looking to review your routine, or put one in place, take a look at our weekly routine planner.
