Yesterday we asked: Do you ever write down how you are feeling?

Looking after ourselves isn’t ‘one size fits all’. What works for one person may not work for another. Many of us need to try a few different methods, before we find what feels right.


Journaling was mentioned as being beneficial several times in our facebook group recently. So we thought we'd check in and see how many of us write down our feelings. Under 15% of us do this at least once a week with 27% saying they have never tried it, whilst 46% have done it every now and then.


Jorden from BANES Carers Centre has written a great piece about 5 different ways we can write down how we are feeling, to focus our thoughts, declutter our minds and provide a channel for feelings of anger, stress, or resentment. Take a read of our "Carers guide to journaling for wellbeing".
