Online support for unpaid carers in Greenwich
Are you one of the thousands of people in Greenwich looking after someone regularly? Perhaps you care for a parent, partner, child, sibling, neighbour or friend?
We're here to support you in your caring role. We work with Greenwich Carers Centre and the Council to provide a range of free online services to support you, in addition to what is already available.
Connect with other carers
We're by carers and for carers. This means that community and support from other carers is at the heart of what we do. You can connect with carers through our Facebook Group and meet other carers on our virtual cuppas. We use all of this to inform our weekly email support, so that we're always addressing what's important to carers right-now.
Mini carers-assessment
Are you thinking about having a carers assessment, but wondering what benefit it will bring? Take three minutes to tell us some simple information and we'll follow up with an email which includes a simple checklist of things to do next. As well as details of how to get a full carers assessment in your area.
Join our community of unpaid carers on Facebook 🙏
We're a community of unpaid carers who come together and ask questions, discuss many different topics and provide helpful top tips and solutions to caring.
If you're an unpaid carer, all you will need is a Facebook account to join.
Remember, you don't have to do this alone - let us support you.
Join our online cuppas for unpaid carers, at a time that suits you ☕
Where unpaid carers come to connect over Zoom and chat about the serious (and fun) things. Don't just take our word though - here's what carers have said:
“People were honest about how things were for them without it feeling panicky. I came away with the motivation to take action on a couple of things. Plus a lovely bunch of people.”
