Support from condition-specific charities and organisations
Mobilise exists to support unpaid carers. That's what we do best. What we don't do is provide support and guidance related to specific conditions or illnesses.
With that in mind we've pulled together a list of some charities and organisations that can help with information about the condition of the person you care for and an opportunity to share experiences with others in a similar position.

Other organisations and charities that can help
Alcoholics Anonymous
If you, or someone you know, is having trouble with drinking, it may be helpful to take a look at the information, resources, local support and helpline offered by Alcoholics Anonymous.
Narcotics Anonymous
UK Narcotics Anonymous help people who are misusing substances (prescribed or illicit) to look at support, recovery and treatment options. They also have a helpline on 0300 999 1212 (calls cost the same as standard landline calls and are included in mobile call allowances) , open from 10am to midnight everyday. NA members are people who have overcome their own issues with substances and are willing to help others.
