Did you know that as unpaid carers we have rights?
They are established in the Care Act 2014. If we understand what they are we are more likely to access them. These can occur during different situations we may come across in our caring role, from making a complaint to knowing what to expect during a hospital discharge.
Last year, Carers Rights Day fell on Thursday 25th November. In this blog, we listed some local and UK-wide events that carers were welcome to attend in 2021. If you would like to be added to our 2022 Carers Rights Day list, please drop us an email.
